Caterina Rettore

Visiting PhD Candidate

Caterina is a PhD candidate at the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences at the University of Bologna, visiting PhD candidate at CREDA. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies, and a Master’s Degree in Local and Global Development. Her current research interests are focused on behavioural economic approaches in relation to food system sustainability issues, in particular food losses and wastes and consumer eating choices and behaviors. Currently, she is investigating behavioral drivers influencing food losses and wastes, with a specific focus on the role of social norms in eating and food management behaviours of consumers and other food system actors. She is also involved in the BREADCRUMB project, investigating the role of food marketing standards in the generation of food losses and wastes along the food supply chain.
