Selene Ivette Ornelas Herrera
Selene Ivette Ornelas holds a degree in Systems Engineering (Mexico). She has studied a master’s degree in Statistics and Operations Research at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where she focused on the analysis of data on agricultural activities and climate change, which prompted her to participate in projects related to rural development and in the analysis of the chain of agri-food value, allowing to gain experience in fieldwork, collection of samples and management of databases. She is currently doing doctoral studies in Sustainability and collaborates with CREDA in studies in the field of rural development, as well as innovation and technology transfer in the agri-food sector. Her main motivation is focused on promoting sustainable agriculture and improving the agri-food system.
