Djamel Rahmani obtained his PhD in Economic Analysis and Business Strategy from the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) and his Master in Agrifood Marketing from the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Zaragoza (IAMZ). Since October 1, 2017, he began working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Research in Agri-Food Economics and Development (CREDA-UPC-IRTA). Currently, he is collaborating intensively in different national and international research projects (H2020) led by CREDA-UPC-IRTA. His field of interest is the research of consumer behavior related to food, nutrition, health and the environment. He has extensive experience in assessing consumer preferences and behaviors based on declared and disclosed preference methods. In addition, he has experience in teaching at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (2017/2018) and at the University of Santiago de Compostela (2013/2014 and 2014/2015).
